Google Pixel 2 XL review: An excellent performing phone with a groundbreaking, brilliant camera

There’s something to be said about buying a Google phone — it’s Android the way it was meant to be. 

When the Pixel came around last year then, it was easy to see why it got so many fans. Fast forward to the second version and the new Pixel phones retain all the charm and the (now) trademark glass section on the back. 

There are two sizes: the Pixel 2 (made by HTC), with a 5-inch am-OLED screen and the Pixel 2 XL (made by LG) with a 6-inch p-OLED screen. Both devices have identical specs except for the screen, weight and battery size.

Performance & Features Both the phones have a recognizable design. They have ultra-fast fingerprint scanners on the back, quite ergonomically placed. They’re metal unibody but have a soft-touch coating that makes them seem less like metal — not everyone likes .
